Trent Blood Bikes is fuelled entirely by donations, none of our funding comes the government of NHS
None of our volunteers get paid, we all give our time for free.
From routine collections from a GP’s surgery to take to pathology, through to urgent blood products or mothers milk from a hospital or NICU to another hospital to help save a life or give a new born baby a better chance of survival, we do it because it’s what we do, and we love what we do.
You don’t have to be the one who answers the phone in the early hours of a morning, or rides out often in poor weather in the middle of the night, we will do that, but by donating you can keep our wheels turning and help us help the NHS help you and others.
